They Said They’ll Be Going to a Smaller Place

January 26th, 2012

Evan and Joan who are now in their late 60’s. Said they have been wanting to get rid of their large home that needs lots of upkeep into a smaller place, one that will be pretty much “maintenance free.” They said they are both getting older now and having lots of aches and pains to go along with the “age thing,” can’t do steps as easily as they used to just a few years ago, and want to be closer to shopping and grocery stores.

So they were both doing a search condo regina and coming up with a lot to chose from, they told us. One that they particularly liked had a very low fee for upkeep and maintenance. Another that they also liked, while the fee was a bit higher, had more modern appliances and was recently remodeled. Both were in the “hub” of things with easy access to grocery stores and malls. So they will have their work cut out from them, from the sound of things, in choosing which one they want.
